Obama is America’s Opportunity As Well

In eight years of war, fear, and terror, our commander and chief has never attempted to bring us closer by using communication to bridge our cultural, racial, sexual, and generational differences. We have needed this type of political leadership desperately. Is this politician perfect? Is he flawless? Is he completely genuine? NO. However, he believes in the ideals that have made this country so mythical around the world, that have inspired so many to risk life and limb to reach her borders, and most importantly, during a time in our history when we are so doubtful of who we are, he inspires so many to believe in the American dream again – the best in ourselves. Can we really pass this by? We need to ask ourselves this because this is not only senator Obama’s opportunity, it is our opportunity.
